Introducing Our 2023 - 2024 Warehousing & Logistics Webinar Event Series!
The changes and growth of logistics and warehousing (L&W) are critical to the economic development and overall quality of life in the Inland Empire. In the upcoming year 2023-2024, ICSD will focus on organizing both in-person forums and virtual webinars. These events will examine and highlight the key questions regarding the future of L&W industries and their impacts in our region. We will utilize existing research and actively seek input from industry, government, and community representatives. RSVP links and event description included below!

Description: Inland Southern California’s location along the path of goods movement – with proximity to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, major highways, and railways – continues to make efficient transportation important to local governments. Join ICSD for a panel discussion with Chris Shimoda (California Trucking Association), Dr. Matt Miyasato (First Element Fuel), Dr. Kimberly Collins (CSU San Bernardino), and Dr. Ray Wolfe (San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA)) about the impacts of the warehousing and logistics sector on the local, state, and nationwide transportation system.

Randall Lewis Seminars
Through the generous donation of Randall Lewis of Upland-based Lewis Operating Cos., the Center has held the Randall Lewis Seminar Series since April 2005. The seminars are held during the periods of January through June and September through November.
The programs are free to the public and cover a wide range of regional sustainability topics such as air and water quality, infrastructure planning, the fiscal health of cities, affordable housing, public policy decision-making, designing healthier communities, transit issues, and social issues.
Information on individual speakers and seminars are announced through this website and can be sent via e-mail. About Randall Lewis
Randall Lewis is well known for his innovative approaches to planning, designing, and marketing residential communities as Executive Vice President of the Upland-based Lewis Group of Companies. He is regarded as an industry leader in promoting the arts, education, healthy living and sustainable development initiatives.
He has been President of the Inland Empire Arts Foundation, Secretary of the Los Angeles County Citizens Planning Council, director of the HomeBuilder's Council, and national director of the National Association of HomeBuilders.
Mr. Lewis was named in the Los Angeles Times 2006 “West 100” list as one of the top 100 influential people in southern California. He has also received the California Business Properties Association Champion of the Industry Award and has been inducted into the California Building Industry Association Hall of Fame. Randall is a long time ULI member as well as a Governor of the ULI Foundation. He serves on several executive boards, including the USC School of Policy, Planning and Development, the UCLA School of Public Policy, Loma Linda University Medical Center’s Orthopedic and Rehabilitation Institute Advisory Council, Cal Poly Pomona’s National Development Council, and co-chairs the San Bernardino County Alliance for Education.
He is recognized as an expert in the real estate industry and is frequently quoted in various newspapers, magazines and trade journals. Randall has over 30 years of experience in the real estate industry.
He received his B.A. from Claremont McKenna College.
